QuickLaunch is great for the storm I think. But as I understand you
can't assign keys to the shortcuts you set? So superQWERTY and
shortcutMe are slightly better for my keyboard obsessed needs.

Another good app which I think is better is QuickLaunch. You can set a million shortcuts on your device with this. It's my fav app by far.

Wow, that does sound annoying. I think I might have the answer. I don’t have the same problem on my bold 9000 running version 5 of the operating system. You might already know this but you can upgrade the operating system on you phone. A little googling suggests the issue you have is only in some OSs. Crackberry.com is a great place to find out about upgrading your OS. I recommend browsing the forum there. I really think it’s worth upgrading from a v4 OS to a v5 OS anyway cos there’s some great new stuff in v5.

There is a very annoying shortcut on my Blacberry Bold. When I am typing fast I find myself often hitting shift delete in error and losing the whole message I have just typed. How do I turn this off? Have done this hundreds of times and it is driving me crazy and towards an iphone! Please help!
